KURBANI KA MEETHA

I had first time Kurbani Ka Meetha in Hyderabad. Expect Hyderabad you can't even see this delicious sweet. Chalo i will tell you my experience, how i get to know about this sweet. One day i went to restaurant for lunch with my friends there i saw delicious sweet look like little brown served with vanilla ice cream then i decide myself  to taste it. I don't know that sweet name because i never heard about Kurbani Ka Meetha, i ask to waiter get that sweet brown color served with ice cream.

 

I think myself its take a long procedure to made this sweet before i join in Hotel Management. But it's very easy way to make in home, let's get the recipe

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

Apricots - 1/4kg

Sugar - 100grams

Water - As per required

Ghee - 1tbsp

Cashew nuts - 10pcs(for garnish)

Almond – 2 to 3pcs(cut it thin slices for garnish)

 

PROCEDURE:

Ø  Take a bowl add water Apricots keep it in room temperature for whole night or 5 to 6hours

Ø  Remove Apricots from water take out the seeds with spoon or carving knife from Apricots keep it a side

Ø  Take a bowl heat it add water, Apricots mix occasionally till Apricots become smooth

Ø  Then add sugar in it mix well for 5mins till Apricots become mash (remember Sweet should not be think & loose) keep it a room temperature 20mins

Ø  Meanwhile take a sauce pan heat it add ghee melt it then add cashew nuts, almonds fry it till become a golden  color

Ø  Sprinkle fried cashew nuts, almonds for garnish

Ø  Serves cold with Vanilla Ice Cream
